Twilight....

Well... lets see...
We went to see Twilight today and well we went expecting nothing and actually got something out of it. Sort of.
My favorite characters:
Charlie
Alice
Bella's mom... her name escapes me... OH Renae
The major characters were well lets just say I don't know just go see the movie and you will understand. I won't say anymore until later, just to make sure that I don't spoil anything.

But... twinkle twinkle....

What do you think?

I saw this on my friends blog and thought it would be fun to see how accurate this is.
What do you think?
This is what our little boy should look like. And NO I am not pregnant! Give me a break Kelsey is not a year yet!

what time is it?

It's funny how time just seems to take out your feet when your not paying attention. There really hasn't been much to going on in our lives. Quinn is working, Kelsey is growing, and I am trying to sit back and enjoy the view. But as you can see time as slipped by me and it has been a while since I last posted. We seem to have alot of things going on in the next few months so I will keep you updated, hopefully a little better. ;)

Is a dog peeing on my daughter?

Halloween was fun this year! I wasn't hugely pregnant like last year so I got to dress up too! Kelsey was, can you guess??
Yes, our "one-sock-wonder" is a fire hydrant!

Complete with peeing dog!!!

Quinn and I had fun too! Quinn was Billy Idol/ 80's rick star. I was a Korean Soccer Player, although I was too scared to spray my hair black.
GO KOREA!!
Kelsey was enjoying the spoils of trick-or-treating. She was taking all the candy in the bowl and throwing it all over the floor. If only she knew what sweet goodness was in those little packages.

Pumpkin

My pumpkin, chosen from the Walmart cardboard boxes, with care.
Carved with gentle stabs of the fork and knife, by loving care takers.

The result, which sadly is all I have to show, because the very day this magnificent pumpkin got us $75 of November rent, it was stolen.

I guess one never knows when the little pumpkins will start devororing, or worse....
cue scary music

Finally part of Colorado

Colorado is all about being "green". Every where you look there is some alternative to everyday life that is better for the enviornment. Anyway, people use thier bikes whenever they can and a whole bunch of other stuff that normal people wouldn't really think of. Waterless toilet, that flushes... figure that one out. Anyway so when my parents were here, they decided to get me a bike trailer, and after much searching and figuring out everything, here it is! We only have one car so this is my form of transporation. Too bad I can only use it for about 2 more weeks.

(That is a gutter, not the actual sidewalk. Colorado isn't THAT cheep)
Kelsey wasn't so sure the first time we used it, but now she loves it, I just have to find a helmet small enough for her.

talking

Kelsey is now "talking" I guess you could call it. She says, Mama mama. I am pretty sure she doesn't understand what she is saying, but she does know that she is getting attention when she does say it.

I think this video is funny because it shows how short the attention span of a 10 month old really is and how much is really going through their little heads. First the talking, then the deep weird breaths, talking again, oh look! A camera! and then the clapping.

But one thing is for sure, our little girl is one of a kind.

The Joy of Fall

We decided to go to the pumpkin patch the other day. It was a beautiful day and a Friday morning so there wasn't that many people there so we took advantage. Kelsey was more excited by the cars going by then the bright colored pumpkins. But we still got some cute pictures.

In our "backyard" there is tons and tons of leaves! So we took Kelsey out and let her play in the leaves. She didn't know what was happening, but it was still cute.

Rocky Mountain National Park and the Zoo

Here are some pictures from when my parents were here. I am so bad at taking pictures with people in them.... I always forget to take pictures when people come to visit or something like that, but here you go...

The beautiful Rocky Mountain National Park, or as locals call it RMNP, Quinn took the day the off from work so he could come up and be with us which was way nice.
Kelsey really enjoyed all the driving and winding roads.
These are one of the many groups of elk we saw. This buck, I guess you could call him, had 6 points on one antler and seven on the other.... so needless to say he was really big, and he kept on "howling" which was really high pitched for a big guy.

The zoo was fun too. There was like 5 people in the whole zoo, so that was really nice. Dad was playing with his friend the monkey a lot. When we first walked up to the enclosure he was near the back then he came running up to the glass as soon as we walked up, it was pretty cool.
My parents have all the cool pictures so I will try and get some of them from my Mom so I can get them posted!

My first creation

While my mom was here, she re-taught me how to crochet. So the first thing I made was a scarf, she started it then I am finishing it (I have to get more yarn). Anyway, I was bored and started to play around with the yard and wala! My first creation...

I only took it out about 50 times before it was the right size. But I think it is cute and hopefully I can recreate something like this for me!!

I'll keep you updated on the scarf....

Update....

My parents have been in town for a little bit, so that is what is going on in our lives. I have pictures which I will post soon. We had a blast, we went up to RMNP... Rocky Mountain National Park and to the Denver Zoo. My parents had so much fun with Kelsey and she had so much fun with them. Mommy and Daddy, THANKS for coming up!!

Another little tidbit... I am selling Discovery Toys. They are really great toys for learning and for growing little kids imagination. Kelsey loves the toys which I have already gotten her and I can't wait until she is a little older so she can play with the more "complex" toys. If you want to see a catalogue or want to know anything else about these awesome, super spectacular, out of this world toys, just let me know!

Let me explain..... Kelsey stole the baby food jar after Quinn fed her. She made a big mess, but was really happy and that's what matters. I guess now we know she can drink out of a cup....
